🇮🇹 Vacancies in Italy

YOUR KEY TASKS:
• Preparing initial technical layouts (mechanical and electrical) for large-scale photovoltaic (PV) power plants
• Supporting project development process in general by preparing technical documents along the authorization process until ready to build status.
• Cooperating and coordinating external consultants and local project developers in all technical matters related to the authorization process.
• Controlling the technical development progress along the agreed milestone-plan and compiling regular progress reports.
• Coordinating clarification and support on technical aspects with Project Management.
• Acting as interface to the grid operators (ENEL/TERNA) for the clarification of technical aspects
• Ongoing research about newest technical development in relation to PV-systems and the required components (modules, inverters, tracker-systems, MV- and HV-switchgears/transformers).
• Maintaining and expanding the network to construction partners and component suppliers (inverters, tracker-systems, MV- and HV-switchgears/transformers, construction).

YOUR PROFILE:
• Have degree in electrical or civil engineering or similar, alternatively a long-term (min 5 years) and verifiable technical experience in the development of solar or wind power plants.
• Have 1+ years of professional experience in PV, wind, or electrical application related business.
• Have knowledge of the technical specification and regulations related to the electrical grid-connection to the MV-/HV-grid in Italy.
• Be fluent in Italian and have excellent knowledge of German/ English.
• Be willing to travel frequently within Italy and (southern) Germany.

YOUR KEY TASKS:
• Managing, tracking and coordinating the development process of several large photovoltaic projects in Italy.
• Coordinating activities and services of external engineering firms and local developers.
• Checking the technical and legal documents required for the approval of PV projects in Italy in regards of content and completeness.
• Organizing and participating in regular meetings with the external partners and authorities involved to ensure a smooth development process.
• Tracking the approval process with the relevant authorities and coordinating the timely completion of all documents/certificates/layouts required by these authorities.
• Analysing project progress, including schedule, and identifying risks, including associated mitigation action plan, and ensure timely reporting to senior management.
• Tracking, updating, and coordinating cost reporting with Finance.
• Preparing regular reports for the management in Germany on the progress of the project development and to ensure proper internal communication.

YOUR PROFILE:
• Have degree in civil or industrial engineering or completed commercial training, preferably with reference to renewable energies.
• Have 2+ years of professional experience in project development in the field of renewable energy or of large infrastructure projects
• Be fluent in Italian and have excellent knowledge of German and/or English.
• Be willing to travel frequently within Italy and (southern) Germany.

• Developing large-scale PV projects from scratch until ready to build status (RTB) in Italy.
• Successfully developing an existing pipeline of semi-developed projects with a size of > 1GW in Italy until RTB.
• Maintaining and expanding the existing network among relevant Market stakeholders in the region (local developers, engineering offices, contractors for construction, law-firms, etc.).
• Reviewing the development progress of the project pipeline frequently and defining initiatives to speed the development activities and milestone achievements.
• Representing CIC INVEST occasionally in relevant market initiatives like fairs, seminars, congresses.
• Managing and expanding the existing organization in Italy.
• Reporting directly to the management in Germany.

YOUR PROFILE:
• Have a Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or Business/Economics.
• Have several years of professional/practical experience in project development in Italy with a focus on Renewable Energies (PV and/or Wind).
• Have basic to good knowledge in the Renewable Energy Business (PV or Wind).
• Have a good understanding of project and contract management.
• Have some years of practical experience in negotiating contracts.
• Be fluent in Italian and have an excellent knowledge of German and/or English.
